addictive beatdown house tracks inspired by the athmosphere of a foggy san fransisco. memories of days with good friends hanging out in a foggy city gives a melancholic feel, but the masculine grooves make this a fierce release that works well in the club. a nice combination that goes back to some hiphop roots and a love for deeper intense house music that works in the club. great start for this new japanese label from tokyo!

2012! finally. the end of the magic maya calendar and the start of another cosmic ilian calendar until 2043. here we are with ilian number 12 hang on 2012 and ilian 12? yes thats not a coincidence,its all well planned. the 23 year young munich hustler marco z says hi with his third dish for ilian tape since he started playing fifa 94 on his sega mega drive. lazy and sexy as always he is initiating a new time for us. as the cosmic ilian starts 2012 – ilian tape is on a new mission for some selective raggamuffin cuts out of munich hbf. after air dolomiti required an own black box for each passenger to fly to bolzano, marco cancelled the flight and went back to his girls for some schlutzkrapfens. so get into the tracks while reading our never ending nonsense here and feel it!

the >drop the mask of self protection< remix of dominik eulberg is a bit of an adventure! unlike his >diorama< album and maybe because of its elaborate musical challenge, he has taken a time-out to create a serious club format in the true eulberg style witnessed on trapez in the past. so what does that really mean for this track? well this remix kicks off a bit of an relaxed percussive and deep house groove and undergoes in its course quite an explosive transformation! with a lot of skill and finesse mr eulberg pulls the strings with accuracy and makes the transfer of what unfolds to be a heavy big pounding techno rocker! thumbs up this is superb and eulberg at his best.

what can we say about this ep ? not much. this is a very well known house artist who wants to keep his identity secret. he sent us some parts of his old 90s house tracks and luckily they were remixed by our good friends coat of arms and breach from uk. this is a very special release for us. enjoy!
